Wrapping up... and we're done...! Thanks for watching folks, we'll have a roundup post on MoDaCo shortly!
'The 8X and 8S will be available in November on 150+ mobile operators in over 50 countries around the world.' US: 8X - AT&T, T-Mo, Verizon.
'8X and 8S will come to more partners and markets than any other Windows Phone HTC have ever shipped.'
'Have to deliver a wow design that would stand out from the rest of the crowd and fulfil the promise of WP8. Need to bring to market in a big way. HTC and Microsoft are working closer than ever to deliver a single integrated campaign. Together Microsoft and HTC will position the 8X and 8X as THE signature phones of Windows Phone 8.' Uh, Nokia might be pissed?
Jason Mackenzie on to talk about availability!
1080P HD front camera, F2.0 lens. Ultrawide 88 degree lens!
Same chip and camera module as the One series.
'Created 2 phones when you hold them for the first time, you realise you've not seen anything like this before'.
'Colours as diverse as the people who use them'. Cue a video of users...
'8S has a vibrant strip like the phone has been dipped in paint'.
'Gorilla glass wraps and flows'. Nope, no camera bump here...
'You've never seen or held a phone like it. Perfectly sculpted with no bumps or protusions'.
'Components inside are stacked like a pyramid, engineering breakthrough.'
'Perfect 3D embodiment of a tile. Started with a tile and made it 3D'.
I'm already seeing the 'it looks like a Lumia' tweets roll in. It doesn't really, it's colourful, yes, but other design cues are very different.
'Microsoft has a clear differentiated vision for mobile. Phones have been 'more of the same', nothing to get Scott excited. Heavy, thick, form factors, recycled devices from previous eras. Nothing has embodied the promise of Windows Phone'.
'Design team thinks Windows Phone 8's UI is innovative, pure, honest gestures...'
